# Roles and permissions

> What each role on your DEKHQ account lets you do, who manages roles, and what you'll see if a feature isn't available to you.

Your decorator gives each person on your account one or more roles. Everyone can see the **Home** page and your orders. Roles add the actions you can take.

Someone with no role can see the **Home** page and your orders, without taking action. Roles combine: someone with both **Order** and **Finance** can do everything in both columns.

## Who manages people and roles

Your decorator's staff add people to your account and set their roles. There's no screen in the portal for adding people or changing roles, including for Admins. To add someone, remove someone, or change a role, contact your account manager.

## What you'll see with the Order role

With the **Order** role (and not Finance or Admin):

* **+ New order** and the **More ways to order** menu are at the top of every page, so you can place orders and [reorder](/help/guides/reorder).
* **Invoices** isn't in the top menu. Opening an invoice link takes you to the **Home** page. See [Invoices and payment](/help/guides/invoices).
* Your **Account** page shows only the **Profile** tab, with your company, account number, account rep, and primary contact.

## What you'll see with the Admin role

With the **Admin** role:

* The top menu includes **Invoices**, and you can [review and approve orders](/help/guides/review-and-approve) and place new ones.
* Your **Account** page shows all four tabs: **Profile**, **Locations**, **Shipper accounts**, and **Payment methods**. See [Manage your account](/help/guides/manage-your-account).
* There's no users or team section. People and roles are managed by your decorator.

## Account page tabs

Select your initials in the upper right corner, then **Account**. The tabs you see depend on your role:

| **Profile** | Everyone. |
| **Locations** | Admin. |
| **Shipper accounts** | Admin. |
| **Payment methods** | Finance and Admin. |

## Need a different role?

Contact your account manager. Their name is at the top of every page, under **Your account manager**.
