# Review and approve your order

> Check your proof, approve or request changes to each design, and approve your order on the sign-off page to release it to production.

Before your decorator starts production, you sign off on the order. On one page you approve each design, check the sizes, price, and ship-by date, and then release the order to production.

<Info>
  You need the **Order** or **Admin** role to approve or decline an order. See [Roles and permissions](/help/guides/roles-and-permissions).
</Info>

## Know when it's your turn

The **Sign-off** tile on your order's page shows where things stand:

* **Not yet due**: your decorator's art team is still preparing your artwork and proof. There's nothing for you to do yet.
* **Awaiting you**: your proof is ready. The tile shows the deadline for your approval, for example *Oct 12, 2026 12:00 PM EDT*.
* **Approved**: you've signed off, and the order is cleared for production.

When your approval is needed, the order is at the **Your Approval** stage, and a **Ready for you** banner appears on the order's page: *Approve your order to release it to production*. The banner has a countdown, such as **71h 35m left**, and a **Review & approve** button.

Orders waiting on you also appear under **Needs you** on your [Home page](/help/getting-started/home-page), with the same countdown.

## View or download your proof

Select **View Proof** at the top of the order's page. The proof opens in a new tab as a printable page with your company name, the order number, each art location (for example *Full Front · Screen Print*) with its size and ink colors, and a garment mockup with the quantities by size.

Select **Download PDF** to save it, for example to share with someone who needs to see the design. The proof page is for viewing only. You approve on the sign-off page.

## Approve your order

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the sign-off page">
    On the order's page, select **Review & approve**. The sign-off page opens, with your designs on the left and **The Commitment** on the right.

    <Frame>
      <img src="https://mintcdn.com/dekhq/UrcRVYMWUSt3gkmC/images/help/sign-off-ready.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=UrcRVYMWUSt3gkmC&q=85&s=6bf9341a33392aa4add08a5773c3dc98" alt="The sign-off page with a Full Front design card offering Looks good and Request a change, The Commitment with size quantities, a reminder to approve each design, the Ships by date, and a disabled Approve order button." width="660" height="633" data-path="images/help/sign-off-ready.png" />
    </Frame>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review each design">
    Each design has its own card showing the location, decoration method, size, and ink colors, the mockup on the garment, and the design itself. Then:

    * Select **Looks good** to approve the design.
    * Select **Request a change** if something needs fixing. Describe what should change, optionally attach the correct art, then select **Send to the art team**. The design is marked **Change requested** with your note, and your decorator's art team sends an updated version.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check The Commitment">
    **The Commitment** is a summary of what you're agreeing to: each product with its quantity for each size, the decoration, estimated shipping, and **Your total** (decoration and fees included), with the average cost per piece.

    To change a quantity, use **−** and **+** on that size. Your changes save automatically and the total updates.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve the order">
    Check the **Ships by** date, labeled *the date you're approving*. Then select **Approve order — release to production**.

    The button stays unavailable until every design is approved. Until then, the page shows *Approve each design to finish*.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Approving releases the order to production. The page reminds you: *Approving releases order* (your order number) *to the floor. Changes after this point go through your account manager.* Check everything on the page before you approve.
</Warning>

## Other options on the sign-off page

* **Need to edit your order?**: to change sizes or quantities, use the steppers on the page. To add or change products or artwork, this takes you back to the order builder. Editing sets the order back a step: it goes back for a new estimated ship date, and new or changed artwork gets another review. Designs you've already approved stay approved. If your account manager priced the order, your changes go to them as a request instead, and the order stays as it is until they respond.
* **Chat with your team →**: message your decorator's team if you have questions before you approve.
* **Decline order**: cancel the order. You're asked why you're cancelling, and a reason is required. Cancelling is final. To go ahead later, you'd start a new order.
* **Shipping & Finishing** shows how the order ships and where it's going.

If the artwork isn't ready yet, the sign-off page says *Artwork is being prepared — we'll let you know the moment proofs are ready to review.* If you have an older link to an order's proofs page, it opens the order's sign-off page.
